AVID
AVID's mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a districtwide initiative that plays a key role in promoting equity, access, and academic success for all students. AVID is also offered at the secondary level in our middle and high schools.
Our school is proud to be one of the first elementary campuses to implement AVID Elementary and to have become an AVID National Demonstration School in 2026. We are excited about the opportunities this program continues to provide and the positive impact it will continue to have on our students' growth and achievement.
Each year, we host an AVID Family Showcase, where families are invited to visit our campus and experience what AVID looks like in every classroom.
